If anyone is still getting bounce messages when they try to e-mail me, can you forward the bounce to my gmail account? Thanks.
We're listening. Apple is aware of reports that some of you are not receiving some email sent to your .Mac email addresses. We have placed a high priority on the investigation of this issue.
If you feel you have not received email and need assistance, please fill out the form at the bottom of the .Mac Mail support page and include the following information:
- The full source headers of a message that was sent but not properly delivered to a .Mac address.
- The text of any "undeliverable mail" messages that were received when attempting to send to a .Mac address.
- The full source headers of a message that was sent by your service and was successfully received by a non-.Mac address. This will indicate the full routing used by your services.
HOW TO OBTAIN MESSAGE SOURCE HEADERS
Mail messages usually have source headers of four or more lines. The full source headers allow mail server administrators to isolate issues affecting the transmission of email. Here's how to obtain the source headers:
If you use .Mac Mail on the web:
.Mac Mail Help: Showing all headers when reading a message
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Dotmac/Mail/en/mac60.html
If you use Mac OS X Mail:
Mail 2.0 Help: Showing header detail:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mail/2.0/en/ml999.html
If you use Microsoft Entourage:
1) Open the message and choose Source from the View menu.
2) When the source opens, copy and paste the text into a new message.
If you use another mail application, you can usually see the headers by choosing an option such as View Source or Show Headers from the menu bar. Refer to the application's documentation if necessary.
