We got burgled on Dec. 23rd.

No one was home or hurt during the invasion and damage to the house could have been much worse, but I'm not exactly a fountain of Christmas cheer right now. I am trying very hard to shake it off.

Bright sides? We have amazing friends who took great care of us and our animals. And also the aforementioned "no one was hurt." Oh, and also? The Christmas gifts were already shipped off so they only got a couple of DVD players, an X-Box, some jewelry and Gina's laptop. Now that the animals are all spotted and safe, I'm only upset about the jewelry and the data on the laptop, honestly.

Bleh.
