Importing Mac Contacts into Gmail

GMAIL supports CSV files for import and ADDRESS BOOK exports to a VCF file. Anybody know how to make the two talk to each other?

the problem is doing the opposite, as gmail stores names as one field, whereas mac address book stores first and last names as separate fields… i do all of my email in gmail but i keep my contacts in address book and sync there with my treo, etc… it’s a bitch to get it all synced up.
