Kelly Sue DeConnick writes short stories, personal essays and the English adaptations
of several Japanese manga titles, including Blue Spring, Kare First Love and Sensual Phrase.

She relocated in 2002 from Brooklyn, NY to Kansas City, MO,
where she now lives with her husband, writer and filmmaker Matt Fraction,
Captain Applejack and their two cats, Pablo and Ham.
